We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Coordinator to ensure efficient procurement and contribute to the company’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create purchase orders (POs) in the system, ensuring accuracy, control, and timely updates.
- Send POs and maintain ongoing communication with suppliers regarding any inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments/offices to clarify technical and quality requirements for raw materials and services.
- Identify and select suitable potential suppliers with reliable and sustainable sourcing capabilities.
- Monitor delivery schedules in accordance with supplier confirmations.
- Organize transportation, including consolidation of shipments by grouping suppliers with similar delivery timelines.
- Request and evaluate quotations from multiple transport companies, selecting the most suitable option based on key parameters (delivery time and cost).
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain shipment dimensions (weight and volume) in order to proceed with logistics arrangements.
- Follow up on any issues related to goods (e.g., discrepancies in quantity, type, or color) until full resolution is achieved.
- Use various web-based systems required by clients for material ordering.
- Procure goods locally to support production and administrative needs (office supplies, production materials).
- Bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or logistics.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to make important decisions under pressure.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to handle sensitive and internal information with strict confidentiality.
