Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and development of renewable energy projects, including site assessments, feasibility studies, and resource analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate project activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed according to project plans.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Monitor project progress, performance, and costs, and report regularly to stakeholders and management.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at project sites.
- Implement best practices for optimizing project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Foster innovation by staying informed about advancements in renewable energy technologies and proposing their integration into projects.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal writing and participating in client meetings and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications are beneficial.
- Prior project management experience, preferably in renewable energy or a related industry.
- Understanding of renewable energy systems and technologies, along with engineering principles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to guide diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to various stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve challenges that arise during project execution.
- Effective time and task management to handle multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting processes.
- Skill in using project management tools and software.
- Openness to learning, staying updated on industry trends, and embracing new technologies.
