Data Loss Prevention Asst. Specialist/Specialist - Information Security Department

- Create new rules and/or modify the existing ones for monitoring data leakage.
- Monitor and analyze data usage patterns to identify potential channels and events leading to data loss within the organization.
- Remediate DLP alerts and perform analysis for triage/escalation.
- Conduct daily tasks involving the review of user activity to detect anomalies or signs of potential data breaches.
- Review system logs and reports regularly to identify potential data security events that require further investigation and resolution.
- Analyze and aggregate data loss prevention data to support the enhancement/tuning of existing policies and determine additional controls.
- Assist in reviewing, updating, and maintaining existing security policies and procedures related to data loss prevention, ensuring they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Play a key role in investigating suspected data loss incidents, working closely with the DLP Team Leader, Information Security staff and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to managing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers involved in data sharing agreements, ensuring compliance with data security standards and contractual obligations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Business Informatics, Information Security/Cybersecurity, or other similar fields.
- Have at least 2 year of experience preferably within the banking or financial sector / or 1 year of experience within the organization.
- Proficiency in analyzing system logs, event data, and user activity using relevant tools and technologies for data loss prevention.
- Familiarity with security policies, procedures, and protocols concerning data protection within a corporate environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding data security incidents or compliance matters.
- Basic knowledge of data protection laws and compliance frameworks would be advantageous.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage work to ensure quality, on-time delivery.
- Highly motivated and self-directed.
- Certifications in a related field (such as Information Security, Computer Science) or relevant certifications (e.g., Security+) would be beneficial.
- Fluency in English; written and spoken.
