Data Engineer - IT Applications Development Department

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• User requirement definition, functional and technical analysis on data flows.
• Implementation of batch or real time processing pipelines, transformation and processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Support team during design, development, test and production releases phases of data management solutions.
• Perform unit testing and system integration testing, produce technical documentation, convey results clearly and efficiently.
• To perform other duties given by Ass. Manager / Department Manager.

Job profile

• To have graduated from a university in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology...).
• Min 2 years in a similar role, working in data management companies and exposed to large amount data processing.
• Experience in logical-conceptual design of complex data models for analytical field, design and development data integration and data quality processes.
• Good knowledge of database solutions (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Good knowledge of SQL and query performance tuning skills.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, databases and ETL\ELT.
• Experience in Python.
• Experience of building data pipelines in Cloud Data Platform.
• Experience working in AWS environment (S3, Lambda, Batch, Redshift, ECR, Secrets Manager).
• Strong communication skills. The ability to work in a collaborative and energetic environment with other technology and business disciplines.
