ACCOUNT MANAGER

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP DEPARTMENT




Position Summary:

The Account Manager of the Business Partnership Department is responsible for business activities related to the assigned financings portfolio with the aim to reach financial and other business targets of the Business Partnership Department.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Carry out the duty in compliance with U.B.A. Regulations & Procedures as well as with the Albanian legal & regulatory framework.
2. Exercise honesty, objectivity, and diligence in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
3. Be prudent in the use of information acquired in the course of her/his duties. She/he shall not use the confidential information for any personal gain nor in any manner, which would be contrary to the Law or detrimental to the welfare of the Bank.
4. Attend carefully to the clientele needs.
5. Responsible for the assigned financing portfolio and for its business targets.
6. Responsible for marketing and sale of approved Islamic financings to the customers as per the bank’s financing policy and regulations.
7. Maintain a good quality financings portfolio and acquisition of new customers.
8. Analyze business financing applications to determine the feasibility of financings, degree of risk involved, etc.
9. Ensure the accuracy, adequacy, and completeness of documentation for financing files as per the applicable laws and regulations, analyze the same and contact the clients if additional information is required.
10. Preparation of financing proposals after investigating the customer’s information and presentation to the Financing & Investment Committee for approval.
11. Cross check and investigates the customer’s information, before presenting the file.
12. Monitor the client’s performance after disbursement and makes recommendations to the Bank Management to renew or not the facilities granted.
13. Follow up the financing repayment of the borrowers through conducting collection calls, on site visits and all applicable techniques for collection.
14. Maintain and enhance the overall business relationships with the customers, in the best interest of the Bank’s profitability.
15. Monitors clients’ needs and ensures offering of financial and other support needed for clients’ growth and operations.
16. Prepare and submit plans for acquisition of new businesses.
17. Monitors the financing portfolio and analyzes the trends in different industries in the country and abroad.
18. Reporting on activities.
19. Coordinate with the Risk and Legal Affairs Department regarding preparation of analysis and financing contracts, collaterals and other documents as required or needed.

Job requirements:

1. University Degree in Economy (Finance preferred).
2. More than three years’ experience in a similar position
3. Knowledge of the business and banking market
4. Excellent knowledge of credit analysis techniques
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to deal with customers
6. Apply basic accounting principles in the interpretation of customer financial statements
7. Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to work in a team
9. Good command of spoken and written English.
10. Very good computer skills.
