BI and Data Retention Expert

Purpose of the Position: BI developer and data management and retention.

Main Tasks:
  1. Prepare periodical and/or Ad-HOC reports supporting business needs.
  2. Implementation of big data solution architecture.
  3. Work on Data Extraction/Transformation - Involves converting the data from legacy format to BI Dataset format creating DataMart’s or other DB structures.
  4. Work on Data Cleaning which Involves finding and correcting the errors in data.
  5. Creation of Datamart’s and aggregated objects to be used by the team in RDBMS (relational database management system) or big data structures.
  6. Visualization of periodical reports and creation of dashboards BI tools.
  7. Maintain the quality of information in terms of accuracy, integrity, and completeness according to the business standards by monitoring database processes.
  8. Implement and monitor in continuance ETL processes, avoiding all kinds of errors and ensure good performance.
Education: University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science (Informatics), Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.

Experience: At least 5 years experience in similar field.

Skills:
  • Data Engineer expert on various DB tools such as Oracle (PL/SQL, Toad), MySQL, SQL server.
  • Expert on programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Very good analytical skills. Right mix of Business economic, informatic and technical knowledge.
  • Good knowledge on ETL Tools and Visualization tools such.
  • Big Data knowledge.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
