Assistant Manager- Financial Control and Accounting Department

Main Duties
To assist in the:
  • Review and control of related monthly/daily reports such as balance sheet, income statement etc.;
  • Strong knowledge on the various tax declarations and payments related to Tax Office and Municipality and to be the main contact person with these institutions,
  • Keep regular and continuous correspondence with external auditors and third-party entities,
  • Follow up and control with branches of monthly inventory reconciliation for GL Suspense accounts,
  • Follow up and control the financial leasing process of the bank’s products,
  • Follow up the realization of incomes and expenses based on the budgeted figures,
  • Control and ensure that invoices for third parties are issued correctly and on time as per predicted deadlines
  • Verify the correctness of the prepared reports, income and expenses analyses as per balance sheet data’s,
  • Assist and support branches with regard to accounting and reporting issues,
  • Assist in the implementation of the new banking or other systems that are implemented in Bank
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Education:

  • University degree in Finance / Economics / Economic Informatics

  • Applicants:

  • To have at least 5 years job experience in related fields (finance, banking or accounting).

  • Knowledge and capabilities:

  • Strong Financial and/or Accounting knowledges and being versed in banking concepts is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge on financial reporting standards as per IFRS and BoA,
  • Good knowledge on financial leasing.
  • Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken (Turkish as a second language is an advantage).
  • Good knowledge on fiscalisation process.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology and computer programs- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Interpersonal skills:

  • To be accurate and trustworthy. Displays integrity, honesty and commitment.
  • Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality results and meets deadlines;
  • Capable to work under pressure.
  • Very good oral and written communication along with strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Maintains a positive, open, and objective attitude towards other points of view and perspectives.
