TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome qualified candidates to join the Business Recovery Department in the position:

Overall Job Definition
The Workout Officer shall be responsible to efficiently and effectively manage the Business Work Out Portfolio assigned, by aiming to maximize the recoveries for the Bank through:

Offering out of court alternatives to existing exposures by bearing in mind the bank’s policies in place, bank’s operations and yearly targets.
Identify distressed signals; monitor closely the relationship with the client in order to maintain a satisfactory status and the most effective recovery strategy to be followed.

Keeps direct contact and cooperates with other colleagues in the supporting Departments.

Main Responsibilities:

Manages all the processes relevant to the Work Out portfolio assigned;
Monitors continuously the course of actions undertaken by the Bailiff offices with regard to the execution of courts orders;
Manages all costs pertaining to the invoices issued by Bailiff Offices with regard to its relevant portfolio clients;
Performs continuous contacts with the clients of the portfolio assigned;
Complies with the bank’s policies and procedures in place;
Investigates, analyses and evaluates the financial performance of the portfolio business clients;
Is proactive and conducts thorough analysis of the collateral and security structures of the business portfolio;
Proposes recovery alternatives that would maximize the profits for the Bank and properly manage the due implementation of each and every client’s approved strategy;
Interacts professionally with all colleagues from departments of the bank which support the course of actions performed for the management of the work out portfolio;

Competencies / Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance; Mater Degree in Law is preferred;
5-7 years of experience in similar positions, out of which 3 years in Corporate Banking;
Knowledge on the company’s structures, operations and financial statements;
Good understanding of collateral/security structures and legal issues that might relate to them while forced execution is conducted;
Excellent communication skills;
Very good analytical skills;
Excellent knowledge of English language in written and oral;
Very good knowledge of Microsoft package (Work, Excel, Power Point);
