DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Architect scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions by translating business requirements into end-to-end technical designs across data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption layers.
  • Manage the execution and delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, resource availability, timelines, and risk management practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to gather, clarify, and translate requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Lead technical design sessions and guide data engineers, analysts, and developers to ensure consistency with architectural standards and best practices.
  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture strategies and models (conceptual, logical, and physical), ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Define and oversee data integration approaches, including the design and implementation of robust ETL/ELT workflows and batch or real-time data flows.
  • Review and validate data models, data pipelines, and system integration designs to ensure they meet performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
  • Ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance by applying proper data governance, encryption, access control, and protection mechanisms.
  • Monitor and improve performance of implemented data solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and increased system reliability.
  • Define and maintain architecture documentation including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and integration maps to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure the technical readiness of the environment for new and updated data solutions.
  • Liaise with external vendors, technology partners, and consultants to evaluate solutions and ensure third-party implementations meet internal architectural and business standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in data architecture, solution design, or data engineering, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), and architecture design principles.
  • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator or Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong command of SQL and working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
  • Proven experience designing scalable and secure data solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics use cases.
  • Familiar with modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or equivalent technologies, including hybrid data architectures.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance requirements, especially in regulated industries such as banking or finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, reviewing solution designs, and making architecture-level decisions in complex environments.
