Position: Operational Risk Officer
Unit: Operational & Market Risk Unit
Department: Risk Management Department

TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania, is currently seeking to hire a hardworking, proactive and motivated candidate to join Risk Management Department in the position of Operational Risk Officer.

Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains the operational risk framework for the effective management of operational risk in compliance with the regulatory requirements and best practices;
Facilitates the implementation of the RCSA exercise and closely monitors the action plans derived from the exercise;
Collects, analyses and measures the internal data on operational risk (harmful events, key risk indicators, action plans, etc.) for the Bank and monitors the techniques to reduce operational risk;
Proposes desired levels of tolerance for operational losses and monitors actual losses and risk events against tolerance levels;
Produces and provides reports related to the level and trends of operational risk, for direct and indirect losses;
Participates in the designing process of new products and/or activities, in order to identify operational risks;
Produces and submits the regulatory reports (on operational losses and KRIs) to the Central Bank;
Conduces diagnostic studies for the identification and assessment of operational risk in specific Bank activities;
In cooperation with the Unit in charge of the activity, participates in the establishment of the permanent controls;
Manages the Permanent Control platform and ensures the permanent control activity is conducted as per the procedures in place;
Responsible for working on the development of the Advanced Measurement Approach capital requirements for Operational Risk;

Required experience:

Desirable banking experience of min 2 years in Risk, Audit, Operations or other relevant structures involved in operational risk management;

Required education:

Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics. Master diploma is preferable;

Required competencies / skills:

Advanced English knowledge;
Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point);
Very good communication and presentation skills ;
Very good analytical skills ;
Ability to work under pressure independently and part of groups;
Ability for self-development and thinking outside the box bringing added value to the organization;
