IT Monitoring Team - Service Management Department

Team Overview:


The IT Monitoring Team is a 24/7 monitoring team responsible for proactively monitoring critical Service and Applications. The team will be responsible to ensure optimal performance, availability and business continuity playing a vital role by observing systems, responding to alarms, escalating and coordinating with other IT Colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring Multiple Systems and applications: BKT Online Channels, ATM Services Monitoring, Network Infrastructure Monitoring, Server Performance Monitoring(CPU, memory, disk space)
  • Respond Promptly to System alerts, faults or emergency situations escalating accordingly.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other team member to address operational issues
  • Maintain logs, record of incidents, system performance issue and action /intervention taken
  • Perform routine checks over monitoring platforms
  • Follow standard working procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate shift handovers and update upcoming colleagues on any ongoing issue
  • Support troubleshooting and assist Service Management Team as needed.
Qualifications and Skills :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar Monitoring Environment is advantageous.
  • Strong Computer skills, including monitoring and reporting tools
  • Excellent attention to details and situational awareness
  • Good Communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure 24/7 environment
  • Knowledge of English is essential.
  • Certification ( a plus) CompTIA network +, ITIL Foundation, AWS cloud or similar,
Working Conditions :
  • This role requires working on shifts (including weekends, and public holidays) to ensure Business Continuity and proactivity.
  • Collaborate with remote and onsite IT teams.
  • Working in a secure or restricted environment and Office Location may be BKT HO2 Mjull Bathore or Data Center Kashar
