TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome a qualified candidate to join the Product Development Department on temporary basis the following position:

Overall Job Definition
The Insurance Specialist will be responsible for the attendance and the support of the overall insurance process for credit purposes through close cooperation with respective internal parties involved in the insurance process and third parties (Insurance Companies).

Main Responsibilities:
  • New and renewal of insurance policy process for credit purpose for all the categories of Tirana Bank clients: Retail/Business Lines;
  • Resolving any issue/ discrepancy related to overall analytic data of insurance policies, delays, error payments (beneficiary of the payment, currency, account number of the client/insurance companies) regarding insurance policies as per credit purpose (Corporate, SME, Retail);
  • Processing paperwork for cancellation/amendment of insurance policies, return of premium value, return of commission paid and finalization of the overall process with the respective unit/branch;
  • Attending the overall claim process: Collateral Claims and Life loss of borrowers;
  • Attending overall Travel Insurance Process for Visa Gold Cardholders including: insurance policy issue monthly basis, processing documents to respective units for signature, payment and attending potential cases of claims
  • Centralized process of issuing Bank Confirmations in favor of third parties (IC) as per their request
  • Overseeing notification and attendance of blocking and execution orders from Bailiffs Office, Tax Office and Municipality on Insurance Company accounts held in the bank (in cooperation with Inquires and Blocking Orders Unit)
  • Any other duty that is assigned by the supervisor.
Competencies/ Skills:
  • Holds a Bachelor Degree in Economy or other related field;
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform the job with accuracy and quality;
  • Good analytical thinking
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Banking experience is preferred
  • Very good knowledge of English language in written and spoken;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
