Duties & Responsibilities
  • Effectively develop and deploy customizations and patch-sets on the Flexcube Core application software’s running at the Bank as assigned by the supervisor and provide seamless and uninterrupted operational environment.
  • Follow closely with the vendor support team the issues identified and ensure fixes are properly tested before moving into production.
  • Analyze the requests of business units and make recommendations for the needed parametrizations or customizations in the core banking software.
  • Effectively communicate relevant practice information to superiors.
  • Effectively act and respond to incidents as directed by the superiors.
  • Maintain proper documentation of the technical solution given; write technical documentation and user guidelines.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Bank IT as a Developer
  • Knowledge on Banking products/services will be an asset
  • Knowledge on Oracle Flexcube Core Banking application or any other Core Banking application will be an asset.
  • PL/SQL, JS and Java programming experience.
  • Very good knowledge of English is mandatory
  • Hard working and result oriented
  • To be able to work overtime as may be required by the department need
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
