EPPC Albania on behalf of LIDL Albania, is recruiting an Expansion Specialist.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify cities and areas with high potential for new store openings;
• Analyze factors such as foot traffic, population density, purchasing power, and local competition;
• Prepare analytical reports and recommendations for the most strategic locations;
• Visit potential cities and locations to assess positioning, accessibility, infrastructure, and average rental levels;
• Collaborate with institutions, and property owners to identify suitable sites;
• Negotiate lease or purchase terms with property owners;
• Ensure all contractual conditions align with company policies and offer long-term benefits;
• Oversee the entire process from property identification to contract signing or purchase finalization;
• Ensure all documents, licenses, and permits are completed according to legal requirements;
• Provide regular status reports and updates on expansion projects to management;
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses for each potential location;
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure investments are justified and aligned with the annual budget.

Requirements for this position:

• Proven experience in store/site expansion with strong local market knowledge;
• Strong understanding of the Albanian real estate market and regional dynamics;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Analytical skills for market evaluation and risk assessment;
• Strong project management, organizational, and planning abilities;
• Basic knowledge of finance and property/lease legislation;
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Google Workspace.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within Albania, spending up to 80% of the time on the road;
• English knowledge, German is a strong advantage.
