TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome a qualified candidate to join IT Department in the position of End of Day Operator.


Overall Job definition:

The End of Day Operator shall perform end of day procedures in Core Banking System by ensuring compliance to internal rules and regulations in force.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Execute of End of Day on the bank's centralized Core Banking System after closure of business hours;
  • Perform Data Backups in compliance to the established procedures;
  • Coordinate with core banking support desk in case of any errors encountered during EOD;
  • Escalate EOD related issues to System Administrators for immediate resolution;
  • Apply patches, fixes on the production;
  • Resolve EOD issues and notify the relevant parties;
  • Perform backups as per the given guidelines;
  • Serve as Users support in coordination with IT Help Desk team to resolve IT infrastructure issues;
  • Perform issue maintenance in Management System;
  • Serve as the first point-of-contact for troubleshooting of all EOD related issues;

Required Competencies / Skills:
  • Holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or any other similar degree; A Masters’ Degree will be an additional asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years' IT-related experience with exposure to EOD operations and IT infrastructure
  • Has an understanding & experience in execution of EOD functions for all business applications of the Bank; Experience of running End of Day process of any of international class systems is a plus;
  • Very good communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Fast learner;
  • Team worker and collaborative;
  • Very good knowledge of English language;
  • Availability to work after business hours;
