TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome a skilled candidate to join our Cards Department in the following position:

Overall Job Definition

The Cards Operations Senior Specialist will primarily monitor cards transactions, detect any suspicious activity and minimize operational risk. Ensure the smooth running of daily debit and credit cards operations and overall operational activities during the card lifecycle in accordance with the applicable procedures and regulations in force.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supports branch and departments with information on credit/debit cards and any other related issue;
  • Monitors processor reports and conduct the necessary daily actions;
  • Executes the necessary actions related to card lifecycle;
  • Manages and monitors the Credit Cards Statements process related to printing, enveloping & distribution;
  • Prepares and investigates fraud and dispute files by obtaining all necessary documentation for filing transactions claims and monitors charge backs;
  • Verifies the alerts generated by risk monitoring systems via Cards Systems, including phone call verification with cardholder for suspicious cases.
  • Reports and analyze of fraud and chargeback activity on weekly & monthly basis;
  • Performs quarterly review of predefined rules in risk monitoring systems and performs the necessary changes accordingly;
  • Frequently communicates with the customers and keep a professional standard;

Competencies / Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economy. Master is considered a plus;
  • 3 years minimum of Banking experience in cards operations;
  • Very good analytical skills and critical thinking;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Flexibility and team spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Fluent knowledge of English language in written and spoken;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
