Job Title: Asst. Specialist/Specialist - Financial Institutions Department

Duties and Responsibilities

To safekeep and enhance the relationships with correspondent and non-correspondent financial institutions.
To prepare different reports such as Memo-s on the meetings and Limit proposals for correspondent banks and other counter parties based on their risk analysis.
To cooperate with respective departments to fulfill the AML and Due Diligence requirements of other banks.
To provide timely, complete and accurate responses to international correspondent financial institutions and non-correspondent ones.
To manage trade finance transactions such as L/C-s, L/Gs, in collaboration with other departments within the bank, through contacting the banks of the beneficiaries or other correspondent banks for opening and negotiating the respective transaction.
To attend the meetings with correspondent and non-correspondent banks and to be able to make good presentations in general for the bank and in specific to bring different issues for discussion in accordance with the relationship with that institution.
To prepare different analyses for reporting purposes, and projects the department is involved in.
To support the branches with their inquiries related with payments of clients.
To be informed of recent happenings in the international banking markets

Requirements

Either newly graduates or having 2-3 years of max experience in the relevant field)
A university degree in finance / banking / business / international trade or any other relevant field, preferably M.A / M.B.A degree.
Excellent command of English (Must). Other languages are highly beneficial.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs and PC in general.
Good analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of financial analyses.
Good presentation skills.
