Albania Leasing Sh.a., a company founded by highly esteemed institutions like National Commercial Bank (BKT), Islamic Development Corporation from Saudi Arabia, Kolon Group from South Korea and ND Balkan from Macedonia, is looking for successful candidates, for the position of Risk Analyst

Responsibilities of the position:

The Risk Analyst will report directly to the Head of Risk and will be responsible SME and Corporate risk analysis.

• Review prospects of lease proposals identified by the marketing department and submit reports to the Head of Risk.
• Advise the Head of Risk on the overall financial merits of the identified project.
• Analyze the economic impact of the project in the region given the current industry status and other economic indicators.
• Review the cost and operating expense estimates related to the project.
• Identify the key constraints relating to the vulnerability of the projects.
• Develop alternative financial models regarding the key constraints and undertake sensitivity analysis.
• Present the results of the financial analysis to the Risk Manager for recommendation to the CEO.
• Provide recommendations on all proposals approved by the Marketing Manager, on completion of evaluation and receipt of opinions and views from the respective professionals.
• Liaise with legal advisors for advice on legal aspects of a proposal/project.
• Initiate all correspondence in relation to projects and forward them for the Head of Risk
• Conduct necessary desk research and rating exercises as and when required.

Profile Requirements:

• University Degree/ Professional qualifications in Banking / Accountancy / Finance /Management are a must.
• Over 5 years working experience in financial institutions in this function is required for this position;
• Strong organizational skills needed to handle the coordination of multiple priorities.
• Independent judgment with strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to work in a consultative manner with the other units in the Company
• PC proficient with knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written is a must
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
