Rozafa Social Business is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager, focusing on exports of Albanian handicrafts.
Rozafa Social Business acts as a bridge between independent handicraft workshops in Albania and the global consumer markets, providing sales, marketing, logistics, and administrative services to these workshops. Rozafa Social Business is a new company, majority-owned by Fondacioni Rozafa. Fondacioni Rozafa, which was created in 2005, helps to develop and sustain women-owned artisan handicraft micro-enterprises which create beautiful products. Rozafa Social Business is the commercial arm of this, generating sales and revenue. As a social business, it reinvests all profits for greater social impact.

Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Manager will work closely with retail customers, suppliers, product designers, and the CEO of Fondacioni Rozafa to develop products and and drive sales of Rozafa merchandise in Albania and abroad.The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about Rozafa’s mission, and understands the domestic and international consumer markets for artisan handicrafts to effectively promote and place merchandise. He/she must be outgoing, energetic, and enjoy developing relationships in all settings to aggressively grow sales volumes and revenues. Creativity is a must to create an appealing marketing strategy and identify sales opportunities. The candidate must also be extremely organized to process, track, and fulfill client orders with the highest quality standards.

Job Requirements:

● Work with external industry experts to create brand identity, product development strategy, and marketing campaign
● Developing and deploying all sales-related marketing materials and collaterals, including print, electronic and web-based sales tools
● Customer development including international buyers, sourcing agents, suppliers, designers and local business owners
● Attend trade shows to showcase Rozafa products and services
● Work closely with clients and CEO to keep abreast of market trends and recommend corresponding internal development as necessary
● Receives and processes client orders from start to finish to ensure proper order fulfilment and maximum customer satisfaction
● Create and maintain comprehensive database to track sales, costing, and production processes
● Handle all logistics including navigation of import/export laws, negotiation of contracts with shipping partners, and product transport within Albania and for export

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and/or marketing capacity
● Understands pricing and costing to be able to negotiate contracts effectively and independently on behalf of company and artisan workshops
● Has good understanding of global consumer markets and retail channels for artisan products
● Outgoing, proactive, creative
● Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to prioritize and work without supervision
● Strong drive to set sales targets and achieve goals
● Excellent presentation and communication skills.
● Business-level English; other European languages also preferred
● Passionate about Rozafa’s mission and able to communicate this passion while on the job
● International experience a must.
