Tirana International Airport SHPK (TIA) is seeking to hire a

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST​

who will report to the Accounting and Treasury Director of the company.


Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
(for indicative purposes only. The responsibilities listed below can be subject of change upon recruitment)

• Follow up clients receivables especially for tax purposes
• Responsible for creating a database for overdue clients and follow up collection for tariffs due to the government
• Perform controls of agent transactions related to airline services
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts designated for collections of tariffs and fees due to the government
• Responsible for preparing periodic reports (weekly status of designated bank account, aging reports of such tariffs and fees, passenger’s statistics etc.)

Requirements of the position:

• University Degree in Business Informatics or related field
• General knowledge of Albanian accounting systems and tax legislation
• At least two years of working experience in related job responsibilities such as reporting or analyzing data
• Familiar with financial software
• Very good knowledge of VBA for Microsoft Office package
• Fluent in English language
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Able to prepare quality reports, accurate and able to handle detailed work
• Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
