Role Overview:

Involves providing day-to-day supervisory and/or coordination support to a team of operational and/or clerical employees, or contractors. Responsible for day-to-day completion of team tasks as well as delegated first level employee related activities, as defined by local policies. This may include day-to-day performance monitoring/management and development discussions, employee related administration, supporting initial/informal disciplinary action activities and, in the case of contractors, contract management, under the supervision of relevant management.

Supports manager by taking supervisory responsibility for day-to-day coordination of team activities. Ensuring that processes and procedures are completed promptly and consistently and that team activities are in line with company goals and regulatory requirements.

Provides a range of support activities including administration and data management, reporting, analysis and deputising for manager when required. Ensuring confidentiality is maintained.

Ensures on-going compliance with defined FedEx processes and procedures, relevant legislation and external regulations, and predefined agreements. Ensures required approvals are sought throughout processes. May complete department level audit and notifies management of any non-compliance issues as they arise.

Works closely with team and key stakeholders to ensure accuracy of information and completion of processes to deadline.

Also includes contact with customers, vendors or employees, to investigate or resolve escalated issues as required. Aligns and gains commitment to actions from the different stakeholders. Leads implementation of corrective actions resulting from the alignment efforts.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytics skills
  • Capability to understand complex reporting and convert numbers into action plans
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, including communication at executive level
  • Excellence ability to motivate and build a high performing team
  • Ability to build relationships and networks to drive business results
  • Native or near native in the Italian language
  • Fluent English language, preferable
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Business
  • 1-3 year experience in leadership positions
