Primary objectives
Deadline for applications is September 14th, 2022.
- Direct, animate, coordinate and manage all of the resources necessary for all functions of OBA IT infrastructure for which he is responsible so as to guarantee optimal functionality
- Guarantee the operating, continuity and quality of service of the IT infrastructure
- Resolves IT infrastructure problems and issues and is responsible to a team associated with the daily operations of the OBA IT infrastructure including the configuration, monitoring, and daily support of IT systems.
- Designing, testing and implementing IT infrastructure environment
- Coordinate, manage and optimize existing infrastructure
- Administer the process of installing new software, testing software for security and stability problems before installing it on a production system, and to know enough about the software to be able to provide at least basic help to users who have problem
- Adding and removing users, creating accounts for new employees, and for removing accounts that belong to people who have left the OBA or are no longer needed.
- Adding and removing hardware, manage the process of installation of new hardware or set the new systems up for their intended use
- Helping users
- Monitor the backups policies and that procedures are correctly performed, ensure that regular backups of all data on the system are made with tools that automatically perform backups.
- Auditing Security
- Is responsible for ensuring that no unauthorized use of the system occurs.
- Define and manage subsystems
- Manage system resources
- Watching disk, CPU, memory, and network usage. Noticing a problem in the early stages makes it easier to fix quickly.
- Document system uptime and usage metrics
- Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides and change management logs.
- Troubleshooting
- Needs to be able to quickly find the source of the problem and fix it
- Participate in the definition and migration strategy
- Participate in the migration process
- At least 5 years’ experience in administration of Linux, AIX, VMware, etc. environments
- Strong skills in Technical architecture design
- Strong knowledge in Infrastructure/Applications (servers hardware, operating systems, SAN/NAS storage, networks, Apache)
- Virtualisation technologies (Vmware, LPAR etc)
- Programing in an administrative language (Perl, Shell scripts) to automate basic processes.
- Experience in administration and management of resources
- Team spirit, team building
- Very good communication skills
