We are now looking for a Senior System Engineer who will join a expert and international Team and he/she will be based in Tirana (Albania). We are looking for an experienced professional who will work on different technical projects, developing robust solutions in line with overall company strategy, project priorities and deadlines. Projects are varied and include work on hardware, software, network systems as well as cloud solutions. This role will require active participation in being regularly technology-aligned and focused on continuous development improvement.

We are now looking for a Senior System Engineer who will join a expert and international Team and he/she will be based in Tirana (Albania). We are looking for an experienced professional who will work on different technical projects, developing robust solutions in line with overall company strategy, project priorities and deadlines. Your Responsibilities:
- Managing servers in a high traffic, always-up, always-available infrastructure;
- Managing a shared MongoDB deployment;
- Helping the team in sizing, designing and deploying HW and SW solutions to support the business growth;
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues;
- Collaborate with the Development team to provide support in different IT projects (deployments, analysis).
Must have
- 5+ years experience working in a System Engineering role in a complex production infrastructure;
- Linux system administration (preferably Debian);
- Web components like Apache, Nginx, Varnish, Docker;
- Kubernetes;
- SQL and no SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB);
- Troubleshooting methodologies;
- Ability to quickly acquire new skills and learn new tools;
- Networking skills;
- Proficiency in English language, Italian would be appreciated;
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in a high traffic, always-up, always-available service;
- Computer Science Degree / Technology Degree;
- AWS cloud infrastructure knowledge;
- Hashicorp products knowledge (Nomad, Consul, Vault);
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Ansible, Terraform;
- Programming or scripting background in one or more of the following languages: Python, Bash, Perl;
- KVM Virtualization (Proxmox VE);
- Understanding of routing and switch configuration;
- Willing to work outside of the standard business hours when required.
