Job Description
As a Senior Controlling Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing financial operations related to logistics invoicing across Europe. Beyond ensuring accuracy and compliance, you will drive process improvements, support strategic decision-making, and act as a key point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure the accurate processing, validation, and documentation of incoming invoices from logistics providers
Take ownership of financial controlling processes related to logistics operations across European markets
Act as a key contact for logistics partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment on financial and contractual matters
Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders to monitor payment terms, delivery conditions, and financial performance
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions
Lead the preparation of reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management
Identify, drive, and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
Support automation and scalability of controlling processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Previous experience in Invoice Processing, Back Office Operations, Controlling, Finance, Accounts Payable, or Financial Analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
Experience working with large volumes of data and financial documentation
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar systems is considered an advantage
