Our client, an international company operating successfully in Albania in the retail sector, is seeking to fill the vacancy of Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities:
• Handling all daily accounting operations
• Reconciliation of Ledger Accounts and Balance Sheets
• Processing of Journal Entries
• Month-End and Year-End processing
• Preparation of Financial Statements under IFRS and local GAAP; Full cycle A/P, A/R, Payroll
• Assisting with Reporting functions
• Checks monthly VAT closings and prepares the VAT declaration
• Assists and communicates with tax authorities and other auditors during audits
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Minimum 3 years accounting and 1 year senior accounting experience preferably
with international companies
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS, local GAAP and Albanian tax legislation
• Fluency in English
• PC skills (MS Office, accounting software)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in teams
