Project Finance Relationship Manager​

Our client, a prestigious and leading international banking group, operating successfully in Albania for many years, invites interested candidates to apply for the new vacancy of Project Finance Relationship Manager.

The Role:
The role involves responsibility for a portfolio of private sector companies which are involved in a variety of sectors with the greatest emphasis on the industrial sector (energy, renewable energy, construction projects, PPP projects etc). Going forward, emphasis will be on developing new business from identified market sectors.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements of projects and develop financial objectives based on preliminary commercial structure
• Prepare comprehensive financial models for various projects to deliver cash flow forecast, scenario analysis, risk assessment and return analysis
• Work closely with the Head of Corporate Division and Credit Risk Management team to identify, analyse and execute the most optimum financing solution for the customers
• Coordinate with the customers and external experts/parties appointed by the Bank on due diligence, term sheet negotiations and documentation
• Engage in discussions with other lenders and projects’ stakeholders, by addressing their questions and clarification requests regarding the financing structure and other project assumptions
• Liaising with Bank’s internal departments and working closely with the Network Banks project finance departments as and when required
• Work and assist the customers to ensure timely compliance with all conditions precedent and other obligations
• Coordinate the draw down/repayment formalities for debt facilities and monitor compliance with financing conditions and obligations
• Project monitoring by periodic follow up meetings with the customer and site visits on the project premises on a regular basis

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance/Business Administration or related areas; postgraduate studies or financial analysis certification are considered an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years work experience preferably within banking industry or Big 4 consulting firms in Project financing/ risk department/ advisory
• Must have experience of business development activities and effectively targeting and securing new business in identified sectors
• Strong financial analysis skills and communication abilities
• Fluent in English, good Italian is considered a plus
• Very good PC Skills
• Excellent decision making and problem solving ability, inter-personal and negotiating skills
