TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is seeking to welcome a qualified candidate to join Lushnja Branch in the following position:

Overall Job Definition

The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for the daily operations processes of the branch, by being in accordance with the work terms & conditions, procedures & policies of the bank as well as with other external authorities;

Main Responsibilities:
  • Performs detailed control of daily documentation;
  • Authorizes specific transactions that are in his/her area of responsibility;
  • Monitors continuously the limits at the daily Cash according to the approved procedures;
  • Monitors end of activities per FO staff, following all procedures approved for this process;
  • Monitors all FO staff transactions by generating specific reports as foreseen at operational procedures published;
  • Responsible for the Cash management of the branch;
  • Performs daily control of different operational reports of the branch;
  • Supports Branch Manager in different problematic issues that may arise during daily work and substitutes him/her when on absence;
  • Refers potential clients to respective relationship officers;
  • Assists the Branch Manager in guiding branch staff by providing quality service to customers, through sales and service of products with the expectation of meeting or exceeding branch and individual goals;
  • Coaches, develops and mentors the respective teams, supervises the staff, coordinates and monitors their work, evaluates them and looks after their systematic update, training and professional development.
  • Maintains a highly motivated staff and promote effective employee relations;
  • Performs any other duty that is relational to the operational area of the branch.;
Competencies / Skills:
  • Holds a Bachelor Degree in Economy or other related field;
  • Min 4+ years of experience in the Banking sector, branches operations area ;
  • Strong knowledge of branches operations, rules and regulations;
  • Very good communication skills;
  • Be customer oriented;
  • Very good organizational and time management skills;
  • Detail oriented and able to monitor activities efficiently;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Very good knowledge in English language in written and spoken;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
