Logistics Specialist
(Remote, US Based)​
The Company
We are a rapidly growing eCommerce retailer that specializes in luxury indoor and outdoor furniture, and home decor.
RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Routing orders for shipment via small parcel and freight carriers
  • Coordinating between our vendors and carriers for timely order pickup
  • Manage and troubleshoot dashboard metrics related to logistics department
  • Support the customer service team by assisting in resolving escalated logistics issues
  • Support the reverse logistics functions by providing logistics input when necessary
  • File and process carrier claims
  • Additional duties and cross training opportunities as they arise
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-3 years of operations experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, listening, verbal/written)
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, sound business decision maker, analytical, time management, attention to detail, organized, demonstrated communication skills and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Must work efficiently
  • High school diploma
PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • A proactive problem-solver and process-improver
  • Comfortable in building and maintaining relationships within and outside the company
  • Able to drive forward multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient with MS Excel, to include medium level skills such as filtering and pivot tables
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and team members
  • College degree preferred
POSITION:
The position is remote:

  • 1 hour paid lunch
Details:

  • M-F 9:00AM - 5:00PM CST
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Hourly pay, $6 to $9 USD
  • Reports to Logistics Supervisor
