Logistics/ Order Supervisor​

About the Job

Our Client, a global manufacturer of professional equipment and supplies is planning to expand its business in Albania and Kosovo, and hire a suitable Logistics / Order Supervisor.

The key responsibilities include:
  • Ensure import and export documentation compliance
  • Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, warehouses, customs broker, sales team and customers
  • Operates within the budget targets to include equipment management, outbound and transfer trucking costs as well as downstream effects of cost/​efficiency in warehousing and fulfillment operations
  • Order new products from the suppliers in coordination with the sales and merchandise planning supervisors
  • Assist in the management of inventory; analyze and enter purchase orders that align with current stock availability as well as minimize shipping cost; monitor stock availability to minimize shortages
  • Negotiate and approve logistics costs for 3rd party logistics providers in support of annual budget goals
  • Support audits of supplier invoices; assist in month-end processing to include accruals for finance
  • Acts as Manager on Duty (MOD), ensuring that all customers receive Quality Customer Care
  • Leads process in developing, articulating and maintaining process documentation
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Business Administration or a related field or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • English language is a Must
  • Working knowledge MS Office, very good knowledge in Access is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • 2 years experience working in similar positions including activities as: order processing, supply chain management, expediting and custom clearance
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and correct order errors
