Lighting Sector Manager

The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate must have the ability to increase market competitiveness, market share, and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Sales towards new clients; determine proper services to propose to customer
- Sales lighting products through phone, in-person meetings, and presentations with customers and sales representatives
- Develops and deliver effective product presentations
- Interfaces with other in house team members, contractors and specifies to make the project successful
- Calculate pricing, energy paybacks, document worksheet and create customer proposals
- Provides full product application support to customers as well as sales/marketing
- Maintains key account /customer relationships
- Negotiates pricing to maximize the company profit margins, while satisfying the customer’s expectations
- Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of the lighting industry
- University Degree; Professional Electrical High school would be an advantage
- Designing and creative skills are highly preferred
- Good knowledge of English and Italian language
- 3+ years of lighting sales experience (facility or general illumination lighting) or technical sales experience is preferred
- Ability to organize, store and retrieve information and data
- Visual Merchandiser abilities and very good technical skills combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of lighting systems design is highly preferred
- Must be professional and have a polished "presence" when dealing directly with customers.
