Lagardère Travel Retail Albania operates in the retail, duty-free, fashion, and food services sectors across several strategic locations. We are looking for a Demand Planner who will play a key role in forecasting, inventory optimization, and supporting efficient supply chain operations in a dynamic travel retail environment.
Key Responsibilities;
- Develop, maintain, and monitor demand forecasts across multiple product categories and retail channels
- Analyze historical sales data, passenger trends, seasonality, and market insights to improve forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with Commercial and Buying teams to support assortment planning, promotions, and new product launches
- Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory
- Monitor stock performance and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to support efficient replenishment
- Prepare regular reports, KPIs, and business analysis for management
- Track key metrics such as forecast accuracy, stock cover, availability, and sell-through
- Support budgeting, sales planning, and S&OP processes
- Identify risks and opportunities through data-driven analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning and reporting systems
- Improve forecast accuracy and demand visibility
- Maximize product availability across all stores
- Optimize inventory levels and working capital
- Support sales growth and operational efficiency
- Strengthen cross-functional alignment across departments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or travel retail is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, or similar) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and inventory management principles
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
