Position Details

Position Title: Assistant Radar Engineer
Location: Kuwait
Employment Type: Full-Time Salary band per month: 2,000 - 2,500 KWD/month Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Military Technology

• Salary Band: 2,000 - 2,500 KWD/month

🛠About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Radar Engineer with 10+ years of proven expertise in operations support, system administration, maintenance, and software updates of Lockheed Martin radar systems (FPS-117, TPS-59, TPS-77). This role supports key operational objectives by ensuring the reliability and technical performance of vital radar technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Support & System Administration
  • Monitor radar system performance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Provide technical assistance to ensure smooth operations.
• System Maintenance & Technical Diagnostics
  • Conduct periodic maintenance checks and corrective actions on Lockheed Martin radar systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal system downtime.
• Software Updates & System Modernization
  • Implement essential software updates and system patches.
  • Maintain system integrity and compatibility with operational networks.
• Technical Support & Documentation
  • Assist in preparing technical reports and operational analysis documentation.
  • Ensure comprehensive records are maintained for all system updates and changes.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in radar system operations, maintenance, and system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Lockheed Martin radar systems, including:
  • FPS-117
  • TPS-59
  • TPS-77

Skills & Expertise:

• Expertise in radar system diagnostics, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in system administration, operations support, and technical analysis.
• Knowledge of system upgrades, software patch management, and radar performance analysis.

Key Competencies:

• Solid understanding of military surveillance systems and operational protocols.
• Ability to work in dynamic, multi-functional, and high-pressure environments.
