Job Title: Lawyer
Division: Real Estate Objects (REOs) Department, Recovery Banking Division
Reports to: Head of REOs Department
TIRANA BANK, one of the leading banks in Albania and member of Balfin Group, is currently seeking to hire a hardworking and proactive Lawer to join REOs Department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing legal support regarding the bank’s accepted collaterals or bank’s owned properties.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
-Interpret the impact of the legal issues on the validity of the security;
-Provide comments/recommendations on actions be taken in order to make the said securities/collaterals valid;

- Audit in accordance with Bank’s policy in force, the regularity of the chain of title of the real estate, movable property or security interest provided as collateral to the Bank;
- Assess the impact of deviations evidenced in the evaluation report of the real estate appraiser in the validity and/or quality of ownership title and/or Bank’s rights over collateral;
- Issue opinions on the legal status of real estate, movable property or security interest provided as collateral for loans (mainly retail loans), that should:
-Interpret the impact of the legal issues on the validity of the security;
-Provide comments/recommendations on actions be taken in order to make the said securities/collaterals valid;
- Prepare the relevant documentation and represent the bank for registration of Bank’s interest over movable or immovable properties.
Required experience:
- Minimum experience of up to two years of experience as lawyer in a private entity or law firm is required; preferred knowledge in the real estate / property matters;
Required education:
- Bachelor in Law. Preferred to have a master degree in banking/ finance/ business law;
