Inside Sales Specialist
(Remote, US Based - Chicago)​

The Company
We are a rapidly growing eCommerce retailer that specializes in luxury indoor and outdoor furniture, and home decor.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication as you identify and assess customers’ needs.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the methods/tools provided
  • Determine customers’ needs and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives
  • Ensure customer commitments are met through the proper use of task/reminder tools
  • Go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Effectively leverage your ability to discount products with an eye to balancing profitability and top line revenue
  • Help customers explore product offerings and consult on purchase decisions
  • Build strong relationships with our vendors to better assist our customers
  • Prepare quotes for customer and follow up to ensure they have all the information they need to decide
  • Be a direct Account Manager for new and existing Trade customers
  • Other tasks as assigned
REQUIRMENTS:
  • Passion to solve problems and grow and/or rebuild customer trust
  • Proven outside sales experience or experience as an Inbound Sales Representative (min. 2 to 3 years)
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Ability to effectively express oneself in writing (CHAT and Email)
  • eCommerce experience valued
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Well-spoken and written
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
POSITION:
The position is remote:
  • 1 hour paid lunch
POSITION Details:
  • Shifts between the hours of 9AM and 9PM CST
  • Weekend Rotation or Coverage
  • Holiday availability, scheduled in advance
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Reports to Director of Customer Service
  • Commissions earned
  • Hourly pay, $5 to $7 USD
