Our client, an international company operating in the Energy sector, is currently looking for an experienced Head of Finance for its offices in Albania.
THE ROLE:

Head of Finance

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic/financial planning activity for the business unit
- Partner with GM and other management team members to set annual financial/operating goals. Maintain accurate forecasting of the business performance throughout the year Develop and execute appropriate contingency plans as needed
- Partner with GM and other management team members to drive business objectives and initiatives focused on profitable growth
- Responsible for all core accounting and finance disciplines. Ensure compliance with local GAAP and corporate policies. Full P&L, Balance Sheet, and working capital oversight responsibility
- Ensure the accurate compilation, timely reporting, and analysis of financial data. Continuously improve closing, planning, forecasting, and other financial processes
- Review forecasts, analyze key performance indicators to identify underlying business issues and provide input to managerial decisions
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting; local or international CPA and / or MBA is a plus
- Minimum 5 years in finance and accounting supervision
- Experienced in IFRS and IAS as well as solid understanding of Albanian Accounting Standards are considered must
- Demonstrated financial analysis and forecasting expertise as well as ability to convert detailed financial analysis into understandable summaries and recommendations
- Superior English and PC skills
- Excellent oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills which allow for working with multiple levels of management across the group and all levels within the organization
