MOVE TO BELGIUM FOR WORK AS IT

Role:

• Responsible for shaping the technical roadmap on digital, assuring to be ahead in the digital age, covering aspects as front-end (Angular, CSS), back-end (java), infrastructure (private & public cloud), CI/CD (GitLab, Flux, Terraform, etc.), Personalization (Adobe, Pega), and communications (Selligent) and efficiently deliver customer value with a high level of quality in the deliveries;
• Trusted advisor of agile Teams (Head+Tech Leads), supporting initiatives from a technical perspective, ensuring the technology stacks evolves a sustainable way;
• Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for the Digital department, aligned with corporate business objectives;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the roadmap is well-known, understood, and supported across the organization;
• Adopt a top-down view to ensure the technical roadmap is strategically aligned with the company's vision and goals. Additionally, adopt a bottom-up perspective to ensure the technical roadmap addresses the needs and requirements of the agile teams, enabling them to deliver customer value effectively;

Lead a team of Tech Leads, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to successfully execute the technical roadmap. Besides the technical skills that are needed in the team, communication and stakeholder management is a key component in the team to ensure the technical improvements and changes to the way of working land well within the Digital developer community, which is divided across different areas;

Empower the digital teams to work autonomously by providing the freedom to make decisions while ensuring a consistent way of working to deliver a coherent technology stack;

Work closely with the architecture team to create the bridge between application architecture and technology choices. Facilitate meaningful discussions to ensure technical decisions are in line with architectural principles;



Skills:

Degree in IT or Digital Area;

Strong knowledge-base in digital technology and architecture;

Deep understanding of modern digital technologies, frameworks, and best practices including front-end and back-end technologies, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD tools, and marketing automation systems;

Previous experience minimum 3 years in previous experience;

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower teams and foster a collaborative working environment, both within the team and building a connection with the agile teams;

Strong understanding of the full SDLC in a scale agile environment (including shaping of requirements and co-creation with business, development and test automation, release management and deployment, operations and a shift left in the form of DevOps);

Responsibility, professional and innovative mindset;
