Meliá Durrës Albania is looking for a passionate and service‑driven Guest Experience Coordinator to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and deliver our brand promise through exceptional care, attention to detail, and personalized service.
Job Mission
As a Guest Experience Coordinator, your primary mission is to ensure the highest standard of guest care and service at all times. You will act as an ambassador of the Meliá brand identity, delivering memorable experiences through the hotel’s product, facilities, entertainment, and services, while creating strong emotional connections with our guests.🛠What You Will Do
- Arrive punctually for duty and ensure personal appearance and uniform comply with company standards
- Consistently provide and maintain the highest standards of guest care and personalized service
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with all hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Build positive and professional working relationships with all team members
- Perform all duties with courtesy, professionalism, and a positive, welcoming attitude
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and Meliá Hotels International policies related to guest privacy
- Ensure all hotel areas, including back‑of‑house and guest rooms, comply with Meliá brand standards and setups
- Welcome guests upon arrival and bid them farewell upon departure, creating memorable first and last impressions
- Assist and support guests throughout their stay, handling requests proactively and escalating complaints or feedback to the GEX Manager
- Deliver a superior and personalized experience to The Level guests through dedicated attention
- Prepare and share daily Guest Experience (GEX) reports with relevant team members
- Send guest communications via email, including welcome and farewell messages
What We Are Looking For
- University degree, hospitality & tourism certification, or qualification in Customer Care / Public Relations
- Native Albanian speaker with fluent English and German; Spanish is an advantage
- Proficiency in Opera PMS
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of Guest Experience and Guest Relations standards
- Understanding of etiquette and protocol
- Basic knowledge of international and local cultures and traditions
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in large hotels or international companies
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for service excellence
