[FONT=verdana,geneva]Our Client, a group of companies operating successfully in the engineering sector, is looking for an energetic, well rounded team player to fill the Financial Controller vacancy.

[FONT=verdana,geneva]Job Responsibilities:[/FONT]

  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Drive the delivery of monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow information in line [/FONT][FONT=verdana,geneva]with group deadlines;[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Assist in the preparation of the annual budget plan, including expense and capital spending, inventory, staffing, cost reductions, restructuring, etc.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Audit, quantify, and analyze variances to plan and forecast;[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Clearly communicate relevant financial and operational information to owners and executive management and implement timely action plans;[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Evaluate existing financial processes, practices, controls and make recommendations on improvements;[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Ensure that the company’s management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced;[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Assume other special activities/assignments and responsibilities from time to time as may be required.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Work with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit of the business;transparent collaborative approach, timely provision of information;
    [/FONT][FONT=verdana,geneva]prompt resolution of queries.[/FONT]
[FONT=verdana,geneva] Requirements:[/FONT]

  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA, MSc or any professional certification abroad a plus;[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]3-5 (hands-on) accounting or finance experience, of which at least two (2) years in IFRS reporting or as a Controller. Similar industry knowledge (engineering, telecom etc) is a strong advantage.[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Self confident and able to provide constructive feedback/opinions on all business matters[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Excellent proficiency with MS Excel; experience with an ERP system would be an asset[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Strong analytical skills[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Able to work as a team with everyone in the company[/FONT]
  • [FONT=verdana,geneva]Very good knowledge of English[/FONT]
