About you
As a Monitoring Operator, you will play a pivotal role in our Event Management service, focused on the proactive monitoring of our IT infrastructure. This service operates around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year, following standardized procedures compliant with ITIL standards.

Your responsibilities will include both proactive and reactive monitoring, assessing the criticality and impact on client services. You'll work within a team that utilizes predefined operational workflows and escalation management processes. Integration with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions is crucial for seamless interoperability.
Our instrumental framework revolves around BMC TrueSight, serving as both a system monitoring tool and a unified console for integrating reports from various other monitoring tools covering network, application, and security domains.

You'll be expected to manage technological integrations between BMC TrueSight and proprietary or market-standard trouble ticketing systems (such as SDAS, Service Now, Remedy ITSM, Jira), asset management tools (CMDB), and repository tools (DWH).

Key Duties:
· Proactive and reactive monitoring of IT infrastructure.
· Assessment of criticality and impact on client services.
· Utilization of predefined operational workflows and escalation management processes.
· Integration with NOC and SOC functions for seamless interoperability.
· Management of technological integrations with monitoring, ticketing, asset management, and repository tools.
· Adherence to ITIL standards and best practices.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education
· Proficiency in BMC TrueSight or similar monitoring tools.
· Experience with trouble ticketing systems such as Service Now, Remedy ITSM, Jira, etc.
· Familiarity with ITIL standards and best practices.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
· Good proficiency in written and spoken Italian
