DUTY FREE ALBANIA is seeking to hire an experienced CFO.
The CFO will ensure effective risk management, financial strategy planning, and full financial control for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting and tax processes - responsible for the accounting team;
  • Propose efficient cash management;
  • Evaluate investment options;
  • Control and supervise cash collection from stores and bank transactions.
  • Responsible for monthly / annual closing of accounting books;
  • Responsible for the financial reporting in line with the reporting standards of the company and its international group – respecting format and deadlines;
  • Provide input for financial statements' preparation.
  • Responsible for statutory audit of financial statements.
  • Monitor Albanian legislation for compliance.
  • Support budget review and analysis, ensuring expenditure control.
  • Liaise with department heads and maintain key working relationships.
  • Continuous improvement of financial related processes of the organization.
Key Working Relationship:
Internal:
  • All business units;
  • International consolidation team of the Group;
  • Reporting to CEO;
  • Supervising the accounting department.
External:
  • Banks;
  • Tax authorities;
  • External auditors.
Contract Management:
  • External Auditors, External tax advisors.
Working Conditions:
  • Location: Tirana International Airport.
  • Working Hours: Administrative.
  • Environmental Conditions: N/A.
  • Physical Requirements: Light physical activity.
Person Specifications:

Education
: University Degree in Finance/Accounting.
Qualifications: Local accounting experience, International standards qualifications.
Work experience: At least three years in related responsibilities.
Skills and Abilities: Relationship management;
Analytical and numerical skills;
Familiarity with financial software (experience with SAP is an advantage);
Effective negotiation, and communication skills;
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team;
Produce readable high-quality reports;
Plan, prioritize, and implement plans successfully;
Effective problem-solving in the business context,
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Fluent in English language;
Credible, confident, diplomatic, and with integrity.
