Digital Experience Engineering Manager
Isresponsible for leading and managing the digital engineering organization thatdeliver of the entire digital portfolio and its associated programs
Keyaccountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Enable the digital vision by leading technical delivery aligned with the digital vision, strategy, and objectives;
  • Facilitate and empowers teams in achieving high performances in Solution delivery, ensuring quality standards are achieved;
  • Establish an Engineering culture of passion for innovation and relentless improvement to the digital engineering organization;
  • Direct recruitment, capacity, performance and finances for the digital engineering organization;
  • Manage sourcing strategy and strategic vendor relationships to achieve goals of innovation, speed and efficiency.

Functional& Technical / Skills:

  • Applying up-to-date approaches to software engineering such as continuous integration and delivery at scale;
  • Design and deliver complex implementation and integration of software systems in web-scale environments, managing agile delivery at scale;
  • Experience in operating complex systems in web-scale environments;
  • Deep expertise in budget planning and financial management in product based organizations;
  • Competent on cloud-native architectures, including public cloud Paas / IaaS, micro service architectures, APIs;
  • IT sourcing and vendor management, dealing with both large vendors and with niche market players (e.g. Start-ups);
  • Lean / agile portfolio and program management;
  • Capacity planning and workforce plans;
  • Release planning and coordination;
  • Agile operating models and optimization of quality, speed and reliability of software.

  • Understanding of both the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging business and technology trend and ability to translate impact onto the engineering organization;
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills

  • Enthusiasm for storytelling.

Credentials& Experience:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Post Graduate Masters Business Administration or similar, or other related field;
  • Ten or more years of experience in IT Delivery, preferably in building and managing large software factories;
  • Five to seven years of leadership responsibilities in large delivery organizations, managing cross-functional teams and/or organization-wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively within complex context;
  • Extensive experience in IT strategic planning, organization design and development;
  • Extensive experience in leading engineering functions through digital transformations in complex and dynamic environments, in order to take advantage of digital opportunities and enable digital business outcomes;
  • Extensive experience in establishing agile principles and processes within large engineering organizations;
  • Professional experience and knowledge of digital and Telecommunications industries strongly preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Albanian and English (speaking and writing)
