EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, is currently recruiting a Chief Technology Officer.

Major responsibilities:

Leadership & Governance
  • Lead the local IT team and manage the IT budget in line with Group governance.
  • Ensure adherence to IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory requirements.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee and optimize end-to-end operational workflows through technology.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement technology improvements.
  • Supervise ATM operations, including technical performance and security.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Act as the primary escalation point for technical matters with Group IT.
  • Manage external partners, coordinate third-party service integrations (payments & withdrawals).
System Development & Delivery
  • Gather business requirements and submit development requests to HQ.
  • Coordinate testing, releases, and communication of system changes.
Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
  • Ensure secure and stable IT infrastructure, manage connectivity providers, and maintain cybersecurity & regulatory compliance.
IT Asset & Facility Management
  • Oversee asset lifecycle (hardware, servers, network equipment).
  • Manage procurement and office facility administration for all local sites.

Requirements for this position are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Certified in process and project management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior technology leadership role, in banking/financial institutions/business consulting;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure cloud services, and Microsoft Entra is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
