Position: Chief Finance Officer

Summary: CFO is responsible for the administration of finances, financial risks of the company by developing financial strategies and setting up internal controls in order to safeguard the assets of the company, and ensure accurate financial reporting. He/she interact effectively with other parts of the company; be viewed as a trusted business advisor. Critical outcomes include supporting the executive team with key financial information and operational analytics, and driving a culture of accountability in managing the business, adding value to operating businesses and voicing well-substantiated dissenting opinions.
Main Responsibilities:
· Develops financial and tax related strategic plans;
· Take lead and develop a continuous evaluation of both short-term and long-term financial strategies to ensure achievement of company objectives;
· Implement effective internal controls within the organization and ensure compliance with the control guidelines;
· Participates in key decision making of the Company;
· Establish financial targets and KPIs for monitoring and evaluating progress of SPV/companies;
· Monitors and analyze budget implementation of each individual SPV/company part of Development;
· Maintain strong relationships with the senior executives by identifying their needs and providing a wide range of business solutions;
· Monitors and forecasts financial performance of SPV/companies, provides analysis and recommendations;
· Evaluate and advise on the long-term impacts of financial planning, the launch of new strategies, and regulatory actions;
· Implements best practices and policies;
· Evaluates investment opportunities in new projects in cooperation with PM;
· Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations;
· Monitors the budgeting process;
· Encourages initiatives for improving effectiveness, increasing revenues and presenting of opportunities;
· Monitors exposure to debt financing;
· Forecasts and evaluates the needs for financing and investments;
· Liaise with financing banks to ensure financing for companies and new projects;
· Monitors cash liquidity positions and projections;
· Define the financial reporting package based on management needs;
· Provide timely and detailed analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial trends, and maintain the credibility of the Finance department;
· Brief the senior management on the short-term and long-term financial implications of the ongoing and upcoming business activities;
· Ensure adherence to applicable accounting state and International (IFRS) standards, local regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting;
Education: Bachelor degree in Business or Finance required. Master’s degree in Business or Finance preferred/required.
Requirements:
· At least 10 years of progressive experience in Accounting with a strong emphasis on financial management function;
· At least 5 years of management experience in heading a finance department of medium – large size private company;
· Strong analytical/quantitative skills and experience with a multi-site organization;
· Advanced communication skills both oral and written;
· Interested in process improvement;
· Able to motivate, lead and coach others under supervision;
· Able to work independently or with little supervision;
· Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills;
· Excellent command of English language;
