Card & Electronic Banking Manager

Our client, an international banking group operating successfully in Albania for many years, invites interested candidates to apply for the Card & Electronic Banking Manager vacancy.

Role Overview
Direct reporting to Retail Division Manager. Responsible for monitoring and managing Card & Electronic Banking Business Sector, as well as ensuring its development according to business plan of the Bank. Develop and ensure implementation of customer, product, pricing and sales strategies. Drive process and product improvements and sales force effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual planning for Card & Electronic Banking in accordance with other Bank areas; ensure that Business Plan supports optimal business growth
  • Define Yearly Strategies, target customers, sales and service standards and approach, taking in consideration market analysis
  • Manage and develop the ATM and POS network
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate electronic banking activities and policies to promote products and services, working with marketing and business managers
  • Ensure that Branches meet standards in relation with Card & Electronic Banking Business Sector
  • Request and support training to the branches for card products and sale skills
  • Manage product portfolio activities to drive P&L growth for Credit and Debit Card products.
  • Responsible for interpreting and championing regulatory changes impacting credit/debit cards in terms of operations and processes
  • Maintain the communication with International card suppliers
  • Manage and develop e-banking and other electronic business opportunities
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of electronic banking products development
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing bank objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Evaluate the business results and take appropriate measures or propose recommendations to Division Manager and COO.
  • Ensure that all required reporting is done in time and with accuracy for the internal and external users (national and international)
  • Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of electronic banking sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or another quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the consumer banking/credit cards industry including extensive experience in strategy development, management and execution
  • In-depth understanding of the business and financial drivers for Cards, working knowledge of the Cards business system (from sales and marketing and risk management to operations and service delivery)
  • Ability to lead and direct a team of knowledge professionals, strong problem structuring and analytic capabilities
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active-listening); ability to structure and deliver clearly articulate presentations
  • Experience in Electronic Banking Operations including various POS Networks, ATM Processing and Online Banking servicing
  • Able to manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Very good knowledge of English language
