ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER
SCOPE: HOTEL; REPORTS TO: FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER; DEPARTMENT: FOOD & BEVERAGE
SCOPE: HOTEL; REPORTS TO: FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER; DEPARTMENT: FOOD & BEVERAGE
- MISSION: Ensures the profitability and efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department through strategic planning, service excellence, and team leadership, while delivering guest satisfaction aligned with brand standards, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainability and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing daily operations across all outlets (restaurants, bars, banqueting, events).
- Act as the link between F&B Manager, outlet managers, and staff.
- Report daily operations, guest feedback, and staff issues to the F&B Manager.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback, and service recovery in a professional manner.
- Ensure VIP guests and groups receive personalized service.
- Assist in monitoring revenues, expenses, and profit margins.
- Review daily sales reports, voids, and complimentary checks for accuracy.
- Support in preparing forecasts, budgets, and P&L reports.
- Make recommendations for process improvement and innovation
- Follow-up of comments on social media, Review pro, follow-up and production of action plans.
- Ensure consistency of service and the highest quality of procedures.
- Ensure all teams are aware of the procedures in the different outlets.
- Ensure presentation format and service following implementation standards.
- Analysis of the services (breakfast, restaurant covers, dinner, room service and events) planned weekly/fortnightly with the managers.
- Control of the beverage area, as well as the adaptation of the service based on customer requirements, maximising results.
- Periodic meetings with the services planned on the basis of upcoming events with the related departments (sales, kitchen, reception).
- Coordinate with kitchen and dining teams for upcoming events and do post-event reviews to address discrepancies and implement improvements.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: | University degree, preferably Tourism or Hospitality, or similar. |
LANGUAGES: | Advanced English skills. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset. |
