Dimension HR is looking for a PHP DEVELOPER for one of its clients, a company which provides Consulting, Information and Process Analysis, Design and Solutions, Computer Applications, Services and Support, Data Management, Security Systems, Training, Audits in the field of ICT.
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES
- Work with a small but driven team focusing on driving the back-end of our product.
- Research and estimate tasks to allow reliable planning and delivery in sprints.
- Build our product together with your colleagues and the Product Manager.
- Think outside your box (the task), and proactively create tasks for issues and improvements you spot while working on the product.
- Work on and resolve issues independently, assisting your colleagues where necessary.
- Be vocal about your view on the product and the technology - we welcome your input.
- Take part in regular knowledge sharing sessions across the engineering team.
- Writing clean backend code and building efficient PHP modules.
- Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.
- Troubleshooting application and code issues. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving software faults or delegate.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.
- Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.
- Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Keep computer systems running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them;
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks;
- Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
- Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs;
- Priorities and manage many open cases at one time;
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers;
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS
- 2-3 years of experience as PHP/Laravel Developer
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Laravel.
- Experience developing engineering applications.
- Knowledge in Oracle Database.
- Very good communications skills.
- Very good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
