Job Description:

  • The BI developer specialist will take responsibility for the integrity of Bank reporting process through the production of timely and accurate financial statements and data
  • The BI developer specialist will assist in the management of information needed to monitor, enrich, and provide detailed analytical support to other Sectors within Finance and within the Bank.
  • The BI developer specialist will provide support in changes, maintaining for reports and ensuring compliance of reporting requirements
  • The BI developer, will be working with cross-functional teams, collecting their requests, document and approve business requirements for data analysis, reports, projects as well as use BI and database tools to develop reporting solutions or updating existing reposts to meet business needs.
  • BI developer will also be interacting with data warehouse architects whenever data schemas need redesigning to accommodate new reporting requirements.
  • The reporting BI developer specialist will prepare technical documentation for mapping data between source system, data warehouse and data marts for feeding DWH and creating reports.
  • The reporting specialist should be able to create/design report in BI tools and extract structured data from DWH.
  • Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze the set of business reporting requirements for BI tools.
  • Translate business requirements into technical ones and implement BI reports based on requirements.
  • Create and maintain business requirements and other technical documentation for Reporting purposes and BI tools.
  • Responsible for testing of reports ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Participation in data warehouse design and modeling
  • Working with ETL tools.
  • Modify and update reports when new products or transactions types are implemented in Core Banking System
  • Provide support to other departments of the Bank in maintaining and updating current reports which are used
  • Maintains and updates bank reports inventory
  • Provides on monthly basis all the reports needed from the core banking system satisfying the needs of the Finance Department with maximum accuracy and within the requested deadlines
  • Solves daily reconciliation issues and assists end users upon report requests


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics’ Economic or related fields. (Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered).
  • At least 5 years of work experience (banking system experience is an advantage)
  • Oriented knowledge of financial reporting practices
  • Very good knowledge of relational databases, as well as skills in SQL query design and development
  • Good knowledge of BI tools for developing BI reports/dashboards using Microsoft Power BI/SQL Server technology stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
  • Good knowledge of Data Warehouse implementations, logical and physical data modeling concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Very good interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and have the ability to interact with coworkers
  • Demonstrate good analytical skills
