Collection Specialist

Job Descriptions:
The Collection Specialist is responsible for collecting on accounts older than 60 days by making and/or receiving phone calls, providing documented correspondence to management and updating the accounts receivable register. In addition, the Collection Specialist will prepare notifications to secure payment; explain penalties, interest, deadlines, and consequences for failure to comply. Working days: Monday – Friday (14:00 – 22:30)

Job Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate must have a minimum 1-year post charge off recovery experience in collections.
  • Must be able to maintain composure with difficult customers.
  • Must be organized and detailed oriented.
  • Basic computer skills required: Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Very good knowledge of English (verbal & written) Level C1

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to negotiate while maintaining a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
  • Make outbound and receive inbound calls and follow company’s collection call model and techniques.
  • Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts.
  • Use basic business math to solve problems.
  • Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to and understand information and ideas as presented verbally.
  • Ability to direct customers to JK Moving for payment processing.
  • Meet monthly individual goals as set by management.
