REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Design, production and dissemination of information materials for promotion of foster care in Albania
SOS CV Albania is a non-profit, non-governmental organization, which is one of the 136 independent (national) members of the SOS Children’s Villages Federation. Its vision is: every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security.
Foster care respects the right of children without parental care to live in a family environment and prevents harmful placement in long-term residential institutions. Research and experiences show that the family environment is the most favourable type of alternative care, enabling children in need to grow and develop in safe, supportive and loving setting. This type of care needs to be further developed in Albania. Currently, most foster families are relatives of the child in need and their number remains small compared to the needs. Improvements of the foster care legal framework is advocated for by various civic, academic and international actors.
SOS CV Albania shall conduct an awareness raising campaign in order to bring foster care development to the public’s attention. The campaign is expected to inform on foster care at least 75,000 citizens at national level.
Furthermore, 400 citizens from four focus municipalities (Tirana, Korca, Shkodra and Vlora) will be approached through local, face-to-face informing and motivation events. This is expected to result in recruitment of 36 potential foster families.
For this reason we are searching for a marketing company to produce all the promotion materials for a successful implementation of the campaign.
SOS Children’s Villages Albania hereby invites experienced legal entities in the area of advertising, marketing or public relations, to submit proposals for designing, producing and disseminating information materials for promotion of foster care in Albania.
Proposals must be submitted electronically (as separate PDF files) by May 21[SUP]th[/SUP] ,2023 (CET), to the following email: info@soskd.org.al.
