Senior WordPress Developer for developing WordPress-based websites and applications for clients.
They are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of WordPress, its plugins, and its architecture.
Responsibilities:
Developing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
Creating custom functionality for WordPress websites
Developing and customizing WordPress-based websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction
Providing technical guidance and support to team members
Troubleshooting and debugging WordPress websites
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in WordPress development
Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and Gravity Forms
Experience with Git version control system
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of responsive design techniques and frameworks
Experience with server administration and hosting environments
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
